Barry loves the land, and always has.
Growing up in Attala County, MS, Barry’s days were filled with woods, fields, and exploration. Eventually, his family moved to Louisiana which further expanded his love for fishing and the outdoors. In 1980, he joined the USAF and served honorably as an air traffic control supervisor. He then transitioned from military service to a career in air traffic control with the Federal Aviation Administration working at numerous airports across the United States. More recently, Barry spent
30 years in Edwards, MS, where he had the honor of serving as Mayor. Now, he and his wife call rural Holmes County near Lexington, MS home. Barry obtained his real estate license in 2018 and has been successfully representing clients ever since. In 2022, he made the decision to join the team at SmallTown Hunting Properties & Real Estate.

Barry maintains a genuine relationship with Jesus and has tremendous gratitude to our great nation. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting and traveling with his wife, daughter, and three spectacular grandchildren.
