Braden Smith was born and raised in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Upon graduating from Loyd Star High School, he continued his education and played baseball at Southwest Mississippi Community College and William Carey University.
Braden has been an avid outdoorsman for as long as he can remember. In 2017, he began recovering deer for the public which has ultimately led to lifelong relationships after helping hundreds of hunters all over the state of Mississippi every season. There is hardly a time of year that you will not find Braden outdoors.
In 2018, Braden started working in the power industry and for six years, he was dedicated to his career. After obtaining his real estate license, Braden joined the SmallTown Hunting Properties & Real Estate family in the fall of 2024. He “plans to carry over the same passion and professionalism into the real estate industry, connecting with and helping individuals along the way.”
Additionally, Braden works alongside his father managing Smith’s Land Solutions, where they specialize in property improvement. This includes general clearing, forestry mulching, implementing new food plots, and developing intricate road systems to increase property values and improve the landowners’ overall hunting experiences.
In his spare time, Braden enjoys all types of hunting whether it be following his squirrel dogs in the Mississippi Delta, bow hunting whitetail deer in the Midwest, or chasing turkeys across the country. Braden is married to Mallory Allen Smith, of Bogue Chitto, MS. Together, with their son, Ben, they are residents of Lincoln County and are faithful members of Macedonia Baptist Church where Braden serves as a deacon.
