Deck Fair grew up in Oxford, Mississippi. He is a fourth-generation operator/investor in timberland in Mississippi and Alabama. Deck attended Oxford High School and the University of Mississippi.

For 23 years, Deck has worked in real estate for Marchbanks Agency in Oxford. In the spring of 2023, he joined Smalltown Hunting Properties and Real Estate as a managing broker and opened the Oxford office. His priorities are business development, listing/buyer agent and team leadership.

Deck is an outdoor enthusiast spending most weekends on his in laws’ farm maintaining property and discussing all matters of Ole Miss sports. He is also an excellent cook often seen working over a grill!

Deck is married to Maggie Brown Fair, a court reporter for the third district courts in Lafayette County; they have two children, Dee and Ginny Ross. Deck is a life-long member of the Oxford University United Methodist church, and a season ticket holder to all Ole Miss sporting events.
