Greyson’s roots run deep in South Georgia. Wilcox County is home, in the small town of Pitts. He has enjoyed spending time outdoors nearly all of his life. For as long as he can recall, Greyson has been in pursuit of whitetail deer, turkey, and waterfowl, and he understands what it takes to be successful in this chase. He says: “The best memories truly are made outdoors! It’s hard to beat a morning spent with your back against a tree watching the sunrise.”
Growing up, he learned the importance of hard work, dedication, and chasing dreams. Greyson has always wanted to work with land, and share his passion for the outdoors with others. In the spring of 2024, he joined the SmallTown Hunting Property & Real Estate team. His goal is to help clients make a connection with land and find their very own piece of paradise.
After Greyson completed high school, he began his first job as a farmhand on a local farm that focused on raising cattle and harvesting hay. It was during this time when he learned how to grow warm-season grasses and harvest quality hay. In the years following, Greyson started his own hay business and has been selling hay to the public since 2017. In farming, he quickly learned the importance of projecting and tracking input costs in order to be as efficient as possible. He has been fortunate to learn from some of the best. It is Greyson’s hope to offer knowledge from his farming experiences to future clients.
Greyson is a graduate of the University of Georgia and holds a Masters of Education in Instruction with a Special Education concentration from Augusta University. Greyson is a 4th grade special education teacher. Outside of teaching, you can find Greyson hunting, fishing, spending time on his farm in Crisp County, or watching Atlanta Braves baseball!
