Registered Forester #2879
Hunter Marlow, born and raised in Meridian, Mississippi, graduated from Southeast Lauderdale High School and Meridian Community College before completing a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University. Earning a degree in forestry with a concentration in forest management (Registered Forester #2879) led him to work as a procurement forester in the central MS area. For more than four years, he has connected with countless private landowners via timber stand improvements/harvests. Understanding and appreciating the connection between individuals and the land they love turned into his passion.
In 2025, Hunter began a real estate career, with a primary focus on recreational and timber investment tracts, but he can curate a plan to accommodate any landowner regardless of the land type. As a landowner, Hunter understands the level of deep appreciation someone has with their property, and he pledges that same level of dedication to his clients. Hunter shares, “My clients can expect excellent communication, loyalty, and a dedicated agent who goes to work for them every single day.”
Outside of work, Hunter continues his passion for the outdoors in a treestand, duck hole, or with his back to a tree in the spring turkey woods. Hunter began chasing the U.S. Super Slam in 2015 and, to date, has completed 23 of the 49 states! He recalls,
“I grew up in the woods with my grandfather and my dad and have since developed a year-round passion for land and wildlife management. Even though I am an avid bowhunter and waterfowler, my strongest connection to God’s creation is in the springtime chasing wild turkeys.”
Hunter and his soon-to-be bride, McKinna, live in Hattiesburg and enjoy spending time together hunting, golfing, and traveling. Maisy, their four-legged “child,” is with them nearly everywhere they go, and Hunter claims she is his favorite duck hunting companion.
