Hunter Marlow

Salesperson
Registered Forester #2879

Hunter Marlow, born and raised in Meridian, Mississippi, graduated from Southeast Lauderdale High School and Meridian Community College before completing a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University. Earning a degree in forestry with a concentration in forest management (Registered Forester #2879) led him to work as a procurement forester in the central MS area. For more than four years, he has connected with countless private landowners via timber stand improvements/harvests. Understanding and appreciating the connection between individuals and the land they love turned into his passion.

In 2025, Hunter began a real estate career, with a primary focus on recreational and timber investment tracts, but he can curate a plan to accommodate any landowner regardless of the land type. As a landowner, Hunter understands the level of deep appreciation someone has with their property, and he pledges that same level of dedication to his clients. Hunter shares, “My clients can expect excellent communication, loyalty, and a dedicated agent who goes to work for them every single day.”

Outside of work, Hunter continues his passion for the outdoors in a treestand, duck hole, or with his back to a tree in the spring turkey woods. Hunter began chasing the U.S. Super Slam in 2015 and, to date, has completed 23 of the 49 states! He recalls,

“I grew up in the woods with my grandfather and my dad and have since developed a year-round passion for land and wildlife management. Even though I am an avid bowhunter and waterfowler, my strongest connection to God’s creation is in the springtime chasing wild turkeys.”

Hunter and his soon-to-be bride, McKinna, live in Hattiesburg and enjoy spending time together hunting, golfing, and traveling. Maisy, their four-legged “child,” is with them nearly everywhere they go, and Hunter claims she is his favorite duck hunting companion.

Testimonials

Wonderful To Work With
Hunter was wonderful to work with while looking for a small property as a weekend getaway. Every step of the way, he was helpful, knowledgeable about the property, and able to answer all of our questions. Hunter guided us through the process painlessly; we couldn’t be happier with our experience. And that wasn’t the end of our relationship…he has checked on us since the closing to make sure we didn’t have any questions or need anything. He truly builds relationships with his clients!

Understands The Land Market
I recently had the pleasure of working with Hunter on a land acquisition in Yazoo County, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From the very beginning, Hunter demonstrated a deep understanding of the land market and took the time to walk me through every step of the process. Land deals can be complex, with access issues, timber value, and due diligence requirements, but Hunter handled each detail with professionalism and confidence. He was proactive in identifying potential challenges and addressing them before they became obstacles. What truly set Hunter apart was his forestry background and industry knowledge. His expertise was invaluable during our property analysis, particularly in evaluating timber quality, long-term land management considerations, and overall investment potential. He brought insights that go far beyond a typical brokerage perspective, which gave me added confidence in our decision-making. His communication and responsiveness were exceptional throughout! Hunter kept me informed at every stage, promptly answered my questions, and ensured I felt comfortable with each step. He negotiated effectively on my behalf and worked diligently to see the deal through to a smooth and timely closing. I highly recommend Hunter to anyone seeking a knowledgeable, reliable, and highly capable real estate agent, especially for land transactions where forestry insight truly matters. His expertise and dedication made a meaningful difference in the success of our transaction.
