James Jacobs

Salesperson, Land Specialist

James Jacobs is a local small-town Choctaw Native American from Cove, Arkansas. In 2006, after completing high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he trained in Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Munitions System Specialist. After nine years, he returned to Arkansas and joined the USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service, where he works to help farmers and ranchers improve their land and operations through eco-sustainable practices such as rotational grazing, wildlife habitats, produce, livestock, and designing ponds and structures. James has been involved with livestock for as long as he can remember. He is an avid hunter and fisherman, with duck, whitetail, bass, and catfishing being his favorites. With work, he has traveled Arkansas bayous, mountains, hills, and row crops.
James is heavily involved with a nonprofit veteran suicide interventionist group, We Are The 22. He is a response director and has been serving in this capacity since 2019. James is also involved with other programs that extend care to rural area veterans who are without access to care. He is a published author in the Journal of Military and Government Counseling.

James and his wife Emily, along with their three children, Christian, Ryker Jake, and Adeline, currently reside in Hatfield, Arkansas. They attend Cove First Baptist Church. Together, James and Emily also serve on the local youth basketball association board. As a family, they enjoy the simple life. James claims that his goal is “to buy back the family farm and raise my line of cattle.”

From an early age, living on a cattle farm developed his love for the land and the endless possibilities it provided. Through his years of experience helping farmers, ranchers, and outdoorsmen, James is the right person to make your real estate dreams a reality.
