Growing up in a family of outdoorsmen, J.C.’s passion for the outdoors started at a young age, following his dad and uncles around in the woods and on the water. Still today, one of his favorite things to do is spend time hunting or fishing with them. The knowledge, life lessons, and work ethic that he learned from these men are the backbone of his career.
In 2014, J.C. earned a B.S. degree in Forest Management from Auburn University. Upon graduating, he worked as a forestry consultant and now owns a private forestry and wildlife consulting company where he manages timber investments and recreational properties for individual landowners across East Alabama and West Georgia.
J.C. obtained his real estate license in 2018, specializing in recreational and timberland investments. The knowledge that he has gained as a forester and lifelong outdoorsman allows him to provide his clients with sound advice, whether helping an investor get the highest return possible out of their investment, matching a buyer with their dream property, or guiding sellers with their asset in a timely and efficient manner.
J.C. and his wife, Darby, along with their daughters, Mille and Allie, live in a small town just outside of Auburn, AL. He shares his passion for the land and outdoors with his family every chance he gets. If they are not hunting, you can find them at the ballfield coaching Millie’s softball team.
