Jeremy’s story begins in western Kentucky, where he was raised in the woods and on the water alongside his father and grandfather. From an early age, he developed a deep appreciation for the outdoors, shaped by long days that always seemed to end with “one more cast” and quiet conversations at sunset about the beauty of this land and The Creator. Those early experiences built not only a passion but also a lifelong respect for nature.
He sharpened his woodsmanship skills on Peabody Wildlife Management Area, a massive tract of reclaimed coal mine property that became his proving grounds. That foundation led Jeremy to pursue opportunities on large landscapes, taking him to Alaska to work in fisheries biology and to Utah to study environmental plant science. Along the way, he gained a clear understanding: wildlife and their habitats are invaluable resources that must be carefully managed to remain sustainable for generations to come.
Jeremy has dedicated himself to that mission through his company DEER:30, a complete wildlife nutrition provider focused on herd health and management. In addition, he also contributes his expertise to Tad Ladd’s West Kentucky Whitetails by assisting clients in successful deer and turkey hunting pursuits.
Today, Jeremy enjoys life in the greater Louisville area with his wife and their dogs. When he’s not working, you’ll find him supporting his two daughters at their activities, spending time with them on the lake, or in the woods waiting for that next unforgettable moment.
