Kix Nelson was raised in the small town of Fordland, Missouri, and has spent more than 30 years in Webster County. He has strong ties to the Ozarks and the people who live there. Before a career in real estate, Kix owned and operated multiple businesses, including a successful barber shop in Rogersville. Those years taught him the importance of hard work, clear communication, and doing what you say you’re going to do. Real estate became a natural fit, allowing him to turn a lifelong passion for the outdoors into a career.
Early in 2022, Kix began his real estate career with a focus on hunting properties, farms, and investment land across Missouri. In late 2025, "the barber" stepped away from the chair and began working full-time as a land specialist. He works with buyers and sellers who want straight answers and steady communication.
Kix and his wife, Catey, have four kids and have lived in Rogersville for the past decade. When he is not working, he is usually outside hunting, camping, hiking, and capturing moments through photography and film.
With deep small-town roots and a strong appreciation for rural living, Kix takes pride in helping others acquire land they can enjoy for years to come.
