Nick Pate was born and raised in Mena, Arkansas. In 2005, after graduating from Mena High School, Nick continued his education at Arkansas Tech University on a football scholarship. Upon earning a Bachelor of Science degree, he returned to Mena, where he met his wife, Meagan.
Nick’s passion for being out in nature led him to a career in the power industry. During his 13-year career, Nick became a lineman and served several years as a foreman for a line crew. Also during this time, Nick started a land management company that he still operates to this day. His love of the land and passion for helping others were fueled even more with the creation of his company. While operating this business, Nick has enjoyed working alongside landowners to make their dreams come true while also getting the most enjoyment out of their land.
Once the SmallTown Hunting Properties & Real Estate branch office opened in Mena by longtime friends Luke and Deedee Alston, it did not take long for Nick to realize this was the next step to continue his love for the land and helping people with their dream.
Nick and Meagan, along with their four boys, Zayne, Corbin, Crew, and Jase, live in Mena. In his spare time, Nick enjoys hunting, fishing, hiking, and playing golf with his family.
