Welcome to Big C Broiler Farm, a 26.85 acre poultry operation located near Many, Louisiana. Originally built in 2005, the Sabine Parish farm features six 50' x 500' broiler houses that underwent a retrofit in 2021, providing an updated and well-equipped poultry operation with the infrastructure needed for continued production.
Big C Farm is currently growing a 4.1-pound bird for a nationally recognized integrator. Each of the six broiler houses is equipped with Chore-Time feeders with Chick-Mates, Ziggity drinkers, brooders, Rotem Platinum Plus controllers, and a Munters alarm system. Ventilation is provided by twelve 52" tunnel fans and four 36" exhaust fans per house, along with Eagan tunnel doors and vent doors. The entire poultry operation functions on natural gas. Water infrastructure is a strong feature of Big C Farm, with three water wells plus city water backup providing multiple water sources for the operation. Backup power is provided by one 180 kW generator and one 115 kW generator, adding another layer of security for critical farm systems.
Situated on 26.85 acres, Big C Farm offers six established broiler houses, updated equipment, natural gas, multiple water sources, and two backup generators. The farm provides a strong combination of production capacity and infrastructure in one of Louisiana's established poultry-producing areas. An extensive equipment package is included.
For buyers looking to build a larger poultry operation, additional poultry farms may be purchased. This creates an opportunity to acquire Big C Farm individually or potentially combine multiple nearby operations into a larger poultry portfolio.
