Billy was born and raised in Leland, Mississippi where he found a great love for the outdoors. He spent most summers working on a rice and soybean farm. In 2008, Billy received a Bachelor’s degree in AgriBuiness from Mississippi State University. After graduation, he worked with the USDA Risk Management Agency for 6 years in Flowood, but always knew he wanted to return home. Billy has been servicing the Mississippi Delta since 2014 as a Crop Insurance agent. He also volunteers with the Cleveland Volunteer Fire Department, where he has been a member since 2018. Billy joined the SmallTown Hunting Properties & Real Estate family early in 2023.

In his spare time, Billy and his wife Amber, along with their boys Wyatt, Luke and Case enjoy being outside hunting, fishing and playing baseball.
